more than 27,000 tons of CO²-Savings by investing in a climate-neutral steam supply

Pfleiderer Spezialpapiere in Teisnach has assigned GETEC with the planning and execution of a new, climate-neutral power plant. As of beginning of 2023, our entire mill gets supplied with heat from a modern biomass power plant. With regard to the PT ECO-STEAM project, CO²-emissions will be reduced by more than 27,000 tons p.a. and the steam for our production is almost entirely produced climate-neutral.

This flagship project is going to be realised by our long-term partner GETEC. Thereby, PFLEIDERER SPEZIALPAPIERE takes a further major step ahead towards the climate-neutral production of its paper grades in the framework of the overall concept PT ECO-VISION.
