Biomass powerplant in operation

With the successful commissioning of our biomass power plant, a new era in energy supply at Pfleiderer Spezialpapiere has started.

By using biomass, we are now generating our process heat in a climate-neutral manner, reducing the CO² emissions of our plant by 27.000 tonnes per year. 

The biomass fuels used come from regional sources and make us independent of imports of fossil fuels.

This investment, is our contribution to the energy transition in Germany and to climate proctection.
